dotTreeSoft ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the canu AI mobile application ("App," "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

canu AI supports Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and limited guest use through an anonymous app session. We do not provide separate email/password registration. When you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the following information from your chosen provider:

We do not store your social login password. Authentication is handled entirely by each provider.

If you use the App as a guest, we may create an anonymous user ID so your onboarding answers, meal records, subscription state, and app preferences can be saved. If you later sign in with Google or Apple, we may link or merge the anonymous data into your signed-in account.

For community features, your login identifier is separated from your public community identity. Posts and comments display only your community display name, handle, and profile image. Your email address is not shown in community posts, comments, or public profile surfaces.

1.2 Information You Provide During Onboarding

Region selection is used to personalize nutrition context, food analysis, language-related features, and default measurement units. canu AI does not require precise GPS location for these features. If your device provides an operating system locale or region setting, we may use that setting to choose defaults such as language, country context, and measurement units (for example, kg/cm/g or lb/in/oz). You may change certain preferences in the App settings where available.

canu AI provides nutrition, calorie, meal, supplement, and wellness-related information for general informational purposes only. The App is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

AI-generated analysis, calorie estimates, nutrient estimates, meal plans, supplement suggestions, and coaching responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions, starting or changing supplements, changing medication, treating a condition, or following nutrition guidance if you are pregnant, have allergies, have a medical condition, or take medication.
