These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the canu AI mobile application and related services ("App," "Service") operated by dotTreeSoft ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using canu AI, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Service Overview
canu AI provides AI-assisted nutrition tools, including food photo analysis, calorie and nutrient estimates, nutrition tracking, meal planning, supplement-related suggestions, AI coaching, achievement badges, and community features.
The Service is designed for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use canu AI. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account and Login
canu AI may allow Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and limited guest use through an anonymous app session. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity that occurs under your account or session.
Guest sessions may have limited functionality. If you later sign in with Google or Apple, we may link or merge your guest data into your signed-in account where technically possible.
4. Nutrition and AI Outputs
Food recognition, calorie estimates, nutrient breakdowns, meal plans, supplement suggestions, and AI coaching responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your personal circumstances. You should review all outputs carefully and use your own judgment.
Do not rely on canu AI as a substitute for medical, nutritional, or other professional advice. If you have a medical condition, allergies, eating disorder history, pregnancy-related needs, medication interactions, or other health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, supplement use, or exercise habits.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases are processed through the applicable app store or payment platform. Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes are subject to the rules of the platform through which you purchased the subscription.
Premium features may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove features as part of improving the Service.
6. Community Features
canu AI may allow users to create posts, comments, likes, display names, profile images, and achievement-related content. You are responsible for the content you submit.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, infringing, spam, or otherwise inappropriate. You also agree not to impersonate another person, misuse another user's identity, or publish private information about others.
We may remove, restrict, or moderate community content or accounts at our discretion, especially where content may harm users, violate these Terms, or create legal or operational risk.
7. User Content and License
You retain ownership of content you submit to canu AI. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the Service.
This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except where continued retention is required for backup, legal, safety, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, or compromise the Service.
- Bypass security, rate limits, access controls, subscription restrictions, or technical protections.
- Upload malicious files, automated spam, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute medical, dangerous, or misleading advice.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to the practices described there.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, branding, text, images, and other materials, is owned by dotTreeSoft or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every country, language, or device environment.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, dotTreeSoft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
14. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, created risk for other users, or exposed the Service to legal, security, or operational harm.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion through the App or by contacting us as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of canu AI after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are provided in English. Translated versions may be provided for convenience, but the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.
